What's our goal?
We want everyone who calls Mission Church home to commit to engaging in a new level of sacrificial generosity to raise $685,000 over the NEXT two years. Our goal is 100% engagement.
Why are we doing this?
Legacy is a core value at Mission Church. We want to invest into the next generation so they will reach maximum Kingdom Impact. Our space continues to run at capacity. We believe this campaign will position us to reach even more kids, students and families.
How does it work?
The NEXT campaign is an "over and above" current giving for the next two years. Mission Church will still need your regular generous giving to continue our aggressive missions giving as well as operational costs to be covered.
From the very beginning...
God gave our small team a vision to be a church in the Topeka area that would draw people from all walks of life. We would be a church that helped people discover and live like Jesus no matter where they are on their spiritual journey.
We desired to start our journey centrally located in the city which lead us to pick our current location. Three years ago we held launch team meetings sharing the heart of our team to be a church of Action. It’s why Mission is in our name. We desired to live out our faith daily in our community. We set out to be a church of Radical Generosity. In the first 3 years we have raised over $392,346.29 to Missions. We believe God is calling us to pursue Diversity in our leadership team and church. We strive to think outside the box and make room for the “best idea” to win. Authenticity is valued at Mission Church. We aren’t perfect, we are real people doing our best to live out our faith. Lastly we committed to Kingdom Impact. We want to see God do amazing things in us and through us in our generation. It’s our turn to live boldly.
This is why we are launching the NEXT Initiative– a bold step forward to expand our church, our influence, and our impact on the NEXT generation. It is an opportunity to continue our foundational objectives and make the NEXT generation a priority. It’s about continuing to grow and serve our community as we expand our building to accommodate MC Kid’s and MC Student space for what God is about to do and for all the lives He is preparing to change.
Together we will make room for the many who need to discover God’s love and invite them along the journey to live like Jesus with us.
